Devote an afternoon to getting this not-so-fun task completed all at once - like pulling off that bandaid. Be sure to use our Name & Address Change Checklist for this task as there are so many entities where your name and address are used that it would be very easy to overlook them.
Keep copies of all of the receipts you receive or forms you complete for these tasks. As well as the contact information for the entities you contacted. Why? Because about 10% of these will not successfully complete the changes you have requested the first time.
