Wedding Costs by Category

Let's say you have $20,000 to spend on your whole wedding. How much of this overall Wedding Budget should you spend for your Wededing Location? How much for the Catering? What about Flowers? If you are like most Brides, you have no idea of where to start.

For Central Coast Weddings, we have generated a rough estimate of what percent of the total budget will likely be needed for each of your major Wedding Costs by Category.

Because each Bride is unique in her feelings about which parts of the wedding are more important to her and, you will likely want to review these categories and alter the amount of allotted budget based on your priorities. For example, a full formal reception meal may not be a priority for you while having a more expensive dance band would fulfill your vision of the perfect wedding. Conversely, you may have always wanted a full formal sit down plated dinner for your reception and, having two left feet, want only simple background music.

Evaluating your wedding priorities will allow you to modify the attached traditional percentages. So consider this document a Starting Point. Something to help to get you past your "planners block" and into a ballpark range for initial planning purposes.
