Because we were having a destination wedding, we relied on vendor recommendations from our wedding coordinator, Taffy Gonzalez of All Traditions. We knew from the moment that we drove up to the home of Debbie Deis of D&D Floral Design that she was going to be another perfect match for what became known as “Team Taffy.”
Debbie has the gift of really listening to what you want and then immediately coming up with wonderful suggestions and ideas. Her yard is a floral design in and of itself, full of beautiful and colorful flowers, and she helps you further envision the picture by going into her yard to cut many of the flowers so you can see them first hand. She has the distinct advantage of having grown up on the Central Coast, so she is acquainted with many of the venues and knew exactly what would work at Santa Margarita Ranch.
Debbie is extremely easy to work with. She’s honest and is sensitive to staying within all budgets. She never tried to sell us more than what we asked for. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful that even now, 1-1/2 weeks later, flowers from the wedding are still displayed in my home. There is nothing more worthwhile or more gratifying than a phone conversation with Debbie, because you will gain real insight into the gifted mind of this wonderful and creative floral designer.
