Hi I’m Colleen Rosenthal. I love life, and pretty much always find something real and wonderful in the people I photograph. In fact, I think this love of people helps me to find and record the precious moments that define a wonderful wedding.

Every image has its story. Yes, Jessica said her dad could wear his favorite black cowboy hat when he walked her down the aisle (image on the right), and Jacqueline and Chris were delighted that their favorite guitarist made it to the reception in time for their first dance!

My philosophy is simple: A little respect and patience on my part goes a long way towards capturing real moments. If I come with a good attitude and pay attention, my clients will show me what is appropriate, funny, lovely and uniquely themselves. The bride is beautiful, but it is the sincere joy in her smile, the way she always wrinkles her nose when she is playful, that her family notices in the photography. And years later it is that honesty that makes the image priceless.
